Rachael Paulson

(She/Her)

Rachael Paulson started her journey in 2006 in South Africa, doing some research for her book on children who labored for water in impoverished regions. Witnessing the challenging living conditions of the community firsthand, she shifted her focus to becoming a resource for communities in need.

Thus, creating HOWGLOBAL— a nonprofit foundation addressing water security for children, community members, and wildlife. The foundation aims to foster development within these communities.

Partnership with HowGlobal

700 schools in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa lacked water. With FPCD’s help, The Green Hub Project provided clean water and essential needs to over 20,000 people.

The Green Hub Project establishes schools that serve as models of sustainability teaching villages about water conservation, agriculture, and sanitation. In fact, Paulson’s first big success was a school in South Africa funded by FPCD. Paulson explains, “It all goes back to funding, if the funding’s there, there’s so much that we can do, and I have the experience and the projects ready to move.” To support HowGlobal, click the website icon to donate.
